Digital Dominator Pty Ltd (ABN 28 616 931 116) operates AUTHORITY44™ and is committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who uses the platform. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we store it, and your rights in relation to it. It applies to the website and platform at authority44.ai and all associated services. By using AUTHORITY44 you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

We collect personal information in the following ways:

Domain and scoring data

When you submit a domain to be scored, AUTHORITY44 analyses publicly available information about that domain and generates an authority reading. The domain submitted, the resulting scores, and the associated report are stored in our secure database so we can deliver your report, maintain your score history, and allow you to re-score over time.

Scoring is performed against publicly accessible data only — public website content, publicly available structured data, search and citation signals, and third-party data sources. If you submit a domain you do not own, you are responsible for ensuring you have any necessary rights to request that analysis.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to deliver the services you have requested, generate and store your authority readings, process payments, manage your account and any licence you hold, respond to your enquiries, and communicate with you about your account, purchases, and the products you use.

Where you have purchased a product or registered for updates, we may send you transactional and product communications. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe link in those emails, or by contacting us. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

Payment processing

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. When you make a purchase, your payment information is transmitted directly to Stripe and handled under Stripe's own privacy and security terms. We receive confirmation of payment and limited transaction details necessary to fulfil your order and maintain records, but we do not receive or store your full payment card number.

Email and marketing communications

We use Klaviyo to send transactional emails (such as report delivery, purchase confirmations, and account notifications) and, where you have opted in, product updates. Your email address and related communication data are handled under Klaviyo's privacy terms for this purpose. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time; transactional emails relating to your purchases and account will continue as necessary to deliver the service.

Service providers

We use a small number of trusted third-party providers to operate the platform, including infrastructure, database, payment, email, and analytics services. These providers process data only as necessary to provide their service to us and are bound by their own privacy and security obligations. We also use Google Workspace for email and internal operations.

Website analytics

We use privacy-focused analytics to understand how visitors use the platform. Our analytics setup does not track individuals across other websites for advertising purposes. We do not use advertising trackers or sell analytics data.

Cookies

The platform uses only the cookies necessary for it to function — including those required to keep you signed in, maintain your session, and provide security. These are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. Where any non-essential cookies are used, we will seek your consent first.

Data storage and security

Your information is stored on secure infrastructure, including a database hosted in Australia. The platform is served over HTTPS, providing encryption in transit. We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access. Access to personal information within our business is limited to those who need it to deliver our services.

Data retention

We retain your account information, scoring data, and transaction records for as long as your account is active and as long afterwards as is necessary to meet our legal, accounting, and operational obligations. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information at any time, subject to records we are required to retain by law.

Accessing or correcting your information

You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and to request corrections if it is inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. You may also request deletion of your account. Contact us at the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time, and in any case within 30 days.

Complaints

If you believe we have not handled your personal information appropriately, please contact us in the first instance. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The current version will always be available at this URL with the date of last update shown above. Continued use of the platform after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
