These terms of service govern your access to and use of AUTHORITY44™, including the website, platform, scoring services, reports, dashboards, and any licence at authority44.ai. By using the platform or purchasing any service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

Who we are

AUTHORITY44™ is a digital authority measurement platform created by Douglas Lord and operated by Digital Dominator Pty Ltd (ABN 28 616 931 116), based in Byron Bay, New South Wales, Australia. It is built on the Periodic Table of Digital Authority™ framework.

The service

AUTHORITY44 analyses a submitted domain against its measurement framework and produces an authority reading — a composite score, Smart Card readings, and, where purchased, a detailed report and Priority Action Plan. Free and paid tiers are available. The specific features, scan volumes, and limits of each tier are described at the point of purchase.

The score is a measurement at a point in time, based on data available when the analysis runs. It is an assessment tool, not a guarantee of any commercial, search, or AI-visibility outcome.

Accounts and licences

Some features require an account or a licence key. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and licence key secure, and for all activity that occurs under them. Licence keys are issued for the tier purchased and are subject to the scan volume and domain limits of that tier. You must not share, resell, or sublicense your licence key except as expressly permitted by the tier you have purchased.

Acceptable use

You may use the platform for lawful purposes only. You must not:

Pricing and payment

Prices for each product and tier are shown on the platform at the point of purchase and may be displayed in Australian or United States dollars depending on the product. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By making a purchase you authorise us, through Stripe, to charge the applicable amount to your chosen payment method.

We may change our prices from time to time. Any price change will not affect a purchase already completed, or the current term of an active subscription, but will apply to subsequent renewals and new purchases.

Subscriptions and renewals

Some products are offered on a recurring subscription basis (for example, monthly or annual plans, including Pro, Consultant, and Agency licences). Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel a subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will retain access until then. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for the unused portion of a billing period unless required by law.

Refunds

Because reports and scoring outputs are delivered digitally and generated on demand, they are generally not refundable once delivered. If a product fails to deliver as described, was charged in error, or there is a genuine fault with the service, contact us and we will work with you to resolve it, including issuing a refund where appropriate. Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, right, or remedy you have under that law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability for failing to meet a consumer guarantee can be limited, it is limited to re-supplying the service or paying the cost of re-supply.

Accuracy and reliance

AUTHORITY44 readings are generated from data available at the time of analysis, drawn from public sources and third-party data providers. While we work to make our scoring accurate and useful, scores are estimates and interpretations, not statements of fact about any business outcome. Scores may vary over time as underlying signals change. You should not rely on a reading as the sole basis for a significant business decision without independent verification.

Intellectual property

All content, software, framework documentation, methodology, scoring logic, reports, design, and visual assets on the platform are the property of Digital Dominator Pty Ltd or its licensors. The following are trade marks of Digital Dominator Pty Ltd:

A report you purchase is licensed to you for your own business use. Nothing in these terms grants you any right to use our trade marks, framework, or methodology in your own product or service, or to create a derivative framework, without our prior written consent. The reports we generate may be shared internally and with your own advisers, but may not be resold or republished as a commercial product without a licence from us.

Service availability

We aim to keep the platform available and performing well, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The platform depends on third-party infrastructure and data providers, and may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control. We are not liable for losses arising from temporary unavailability.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to the Australian Consumer Law section above, Digital Dominator Pty Ltd's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the platform or any service is limited to the amount you paid to us in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss — including loss of profit, loss of data, loss of business, or loss of opportunity — whether arising in contract, tort, or otherwise.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the platform if you breach these terms, misuse the service, or fail to pay amounts due. You may stop using the platform and close your account at any time. Provisions relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.

Third-party services and links

The platform integrates with and links to third-party services, including payment, email, and data providers, and to related products such as the Periodic Table of Digital Authority and OG01. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or reliability of third-party services beyond our own operation of them. Links to external sites do not constitute endorsement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the platform is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available at this URL with the date of last update shown above. Continued use of the platform after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
