How Digital Dominator Pty Ltd collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information in connection with AUTHORITY44.
1. Who we are
Digital Dominator Pty Ltd (ACN 616 931 116), trading as AUTHORITY44, is the data controller for personal information processed through the authority44.ai website and related services. Our postal address is PO Box 264, Byron Bay NSW 2481, Australia. You can contact us at hello@authority44.ai.
We comply with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). If you are resident in the United Kingdom, European Union, or European Economic Area, we also handle your personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and EU GDPR, and the additional rights set out in Section 10 below apply to you.
2. What information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details — name, email address — when you request a report, purchase a product, or contact us.
- Domain information — the domain names you submit for scoring, which we treat as public business information but link to your account.
- Payment information — processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers on our systems.
- Communications — any support queries, feedback, or correspondence you send us.
Information we collect automatically
- Usage data — pages viewed, actions taken, and approximate IP-derived location.
- Technical data — browser type, device, referral source, and timestamps.
- Cookies and similar technologies — small data files stored on your device to make the site work and measure performance.
Information we generate about you
- Authority scores and reports associated with the domains you submit.
- Purchase history and subscription status within your account.

4. Who we share information with
We share personal information only with third-party service providers who help us run AUTHORITY44, and only to the extent they need it. Each is bound by appropriate confidentiality and data protection obligations.
- Stripe, Inc. — payment processing. Processes card details on our behalf.
- Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting, content delivery, and workers running our scoring pipeline.
- Supabase, Inc. — database storage for leads, reports, and payments.
- Klaviyo, Inc. — email delivery and marketing automation.
- SE Ranking, Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Perplexity — used during the scoring process. We send the domain and limited signal queries; we do not send your personal account information to these providers.
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, a court order, or a regulator; or to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim.
5. International transfers
Several of our service providers are located outside Australia (principally in the United States). Where your personal information is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is protected to a standard consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles, the UK GDPR, and the EU GDPR, including using providers that offer standard contractual clauses and certifications such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
6. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this Policy:
- Account and purchase records — for the life of your account and then for 7 years to meet Australian taxation record-keeping obligations.
- Marketing contacts — until you unsubscribe, then suppressed (not deleted) to honour your opt-out.
- Usage and technical data — typically up to 24 months, or less where feasible.
7. How we protect information
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), encrypted database storage at our providers, secret management for API keys and payment credentials, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure; if we become aware of a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
8. Your rights
Under Australian law, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you;
- Correct information that is inaccurate, out of date, or incomplete;
- Withdraw consent to marketing at any time (see Section 9);
- Complain to us or to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner if you believe we've mishandled your information.
9. Email and marketing
Transactional emails (receipts, report-ready notifications, subscription renewal notices) are part of the Service and continue as long as you have an active account or purchase.
Marketing emails are only sent with your consent. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also email hello@authority44.ai with "Unsubscribe" in the subject line.
10. Additional rights for UK and EU residents
If you are resident in the UK, EU, or EEA, you also have the right to:
- request erasure of your personal data in certain circumstances;
- request a portable copy of data you've provided;
- object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- ask us to restrict processing while we investigate a complaint;
- lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (for UK residents, the ICO).

11. Children
AUTHORITY44 is a business tool and is not directed at individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies: essential cookies that keep the site working, and analytics cookies that help us understand usage. Where required by law, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect how parts of the Site work.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent change. Material changes will be notified by email to active users.
