Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Digital Dominator Pty Ltd when you use AUTHORITY44, our website, or purchase any of our products.

1. Who we are

AUTHORITY44 is a product and framework of Digital Dominator Pty Ltd (ACN 616 931 116), a company registered in Australia ("we", "us", "our"). Our postal address is PO Box 264, Byron Bay NSW 2481, Australia. You can reach us at hello@authority44.ai.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the authority44.ai website ("Site"), the AUTHORITY44 scoring engine ("Engine"), any reports or data we deliver to you, and any subscriptions or one-off products you purchase ("Services"). By using the Site or purchasing a Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. What the Service does

AUTHORITY44 measures the digital authority of a website using the Periodic Table of Digital Authority and returns an Authority Score, four Smart Card breakdowns, and a set of recommended actions. Paid tiers provide additional detail, remediation kits, and ongoing monitoring.

The Engine analyses public information about a domain you provide. It does not guarantee any particular ranking, visibility, or commercial outcome. Digital authority is influenced by many factors outside our control, including changes to search engines, AI models, and third-party platforms.

3. Accounts and accuracy of information

Some Services require you to provide an email address or other contact information. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide to us. You must only submit domains you own or have authorisation to analyse. If we reasonably believe a submission breaches these Terms or applicable law, we may refuse or terminate the Service without refund.

4. Pricing and payment

All prices on the Site are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated. Payment is processed by Stripe, a third-party payment provider. Your use of Stripe is subject to Stripe's own terms and privacy policy.

For one-off products (Tool Lite, Full Fix Pack, Rescores, Upgrade), payment is taken at checkout and the product is delivered electronically. For subscriptions (Pro Monthly, Pro Annual), payment recurs automatically on the billing cycle you selected until you cancel.

5. Refunds

Our refund terms are set out in full in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Nothing in the Refund Policy or these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including the consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded.

6. Intellectual property

The AUTHORITY44 framework — including the Periodic Table of Digital Authority, the Authority Score formula, the Smart Card engine architecture, the inverse penalty model, the prompt architecture, the Authority Ladder, and all associated trade marks — is owned by Digital Dominator Pty Ltd.

When you purchase a Service, you receive a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the report, score, or deliverable we provide for your own business purposes. You may not resell, republish, or sublicense our reports, scores, or methodology without a written licence from us. For licensing options, see authority44.ai/licence.

You must not reverse-engineer, copy, or attempt to derive the underlying scoring logic, prompt architecture, or signal weights. Attempting to do so is a material breach of these Terms.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

use the Service for unlawful purposes or to infringe another party's rights;
submit domains you do not own or have no authorisation to analyse;
resell, redistribute, or white-label our reports without a licence;
attempt to overload, probe, scan, or otherwise interfere with the Site, Engine, or our infrastructure;
use automated scripts to extract data from the Site beyond ordinary browsing.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available but make no guarantee of uptime. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. The framework is living — methodology versions evolve as the AI and search landscape changes, and your Score may reflect those updates over time.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental loss, including lost revenue, lost customers, or lost rankings.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer right, guarantee, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be lawfully excluded.

10. Privacy

We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent change. Material changes will be notified by email to active subscribers or posted prominently on the Site. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

A plain-English summary: You can use our reports to improve your own business. You can't resell them or reverse-engineer the methodology. We try to be accurate but we don't guarantee rankings. If we mess up, you're protected by Australian Consumer Law, and our liability is capped at what you paid us. Pay us by card, get your report, use it well.
