Refund Policy
Clear, fair refund terms for every AUTHORITY44 product — consistent with Australian Consumer Law and the reality of digital goods.
1. The principle
AUTHORITY44 products are digital deliverables: reports, scores, implementation kits, and subscriptions. We want you to feel confident buying from us. This policy sets out when you can get a refund — in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded.
2. Refund terms by product

Once you've downloaded the ZIP pack (schema templates, prompt pack, roadmap), the product is considered delivered and consumed. Outside the 14-day window, refunds are not available except as required by Australian Consumer Law. |

3. When we'll always refund
Regardless of the windows above, we will refund you in full if:
- we charge you for a product you did not order or receive;
- a technical failure on our side prevented us from delivering the product you paid for and cannot be resolved within 7 days;
- you're entitled to a refund under the Australian Consumer Law, including where the Service has a major failure, is not fit for a disclosed purpose, or does not match its description.
4. When we can't refund
We're unable to provide refunds in the following cases:
- you have downloaded the Full Fix Pack or Upgrade implementation kit — once the ZIP is downloaded, the product has been delivered;
- you request a refund outside the refund window for the product;
- the underlying data source (e.g. SE Ranking, an AI model, Google) returned an expected result that you personally disagree with, absent a demonstrable technical failure;
- your digital authority score or rankings did not change — scoring measures signals, it does not guarantee outcomes.
5. How to request a refund
Email hello@authority44.ai with:
- the email address used for the purchase;
- the domain the report was generated for (if applicable);
- a short description of the issue.
We respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed through Stripe to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of approval, depending on your card issuer.
6. Chargebacks
If you believe a refund is due, please contact us first. Filing a chargeback before contacting us costs both parties time and Stripe fees, and can delay resolution. We'd much rather just fix it for you.
7. Australian Consumer Law
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the product repaired or replaced if the Service fails to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Nothing in this policy restricts those rights.
8. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent change. The Policy in force at the time of your purchase is the one that applies to that purchase.
